Summary
Conceiving compelling scenarios for the usage of AI in the media domain is as simple as it is challenging to assess to what extent those scenarios find application in industrial practice.
This white paper reports the path that RAI (the Italian public broadcaster and member of the AI4Media consortium) followed to approach this problem. The document takes as input an articulated and quite dense business use case defined by RAI, in which the usage of AI technologies covers all the key functionalities of a typical media production workflow.
The aim of this white paper is to validate the proposed vision through the collection of opinions gathered from industry experts and to drive the research community toward the most useful development directions.
