Any organisation, EU funded project/initiative or public organisation from academia or industry, with background experience or interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence with particular application in the multimedia and media sectors, and motivation to contribute to research and technological advances in this domain.

Establish collaboration opportunities
Access to AI resources and know-how
Access to funds for research and applications, through an open call
Receive information about project activities such as events, outcomes, open calls, presentations, etc
Be invited to provide feedback on AI4Media progress during workshops
Be invited to test early versions of technical demonstrators, systems and applications developed during the project
Gain visibility publicizing your activities through AI4Media channels e.g. social media, newsletter, mailing list
Participate in visits and staff exchanges between AI4media partners and associate members and vice versa, with the expenses covered by AI4Media mobility fund.
Take part in an AI doctoral academy (AIDA) by offering courses and get entitled to the same benefits as other AIDA members such as free access to courses offered by other members.

* There are no legal obligations both for the AI4Media project and the Associate Members.

Candidate Associate Members will have to apply and their application has to be approved by the General Assembly (GA). The GA will examine applications and decide regularly.

The selection criteria will be mostly based on relevance and background.
